April Showers bring May Flowers, right? Well, we had lots of showers here in Mississippi this April, so I’m banking on the May flowers and praying for not too hot temps {we’ve already hit 90 degrees… eek}. One of my favorite parts of May is MOTHER’S DAY. I’m pretty sure Mother’s Day is one of my favorite holidays {other than Christmas and Easter} because it’s a day to celebrate the women in our lives that have selflessly given their ALL to mold and shape us into who we are today. Although I’ve only been a mother for less than 3 years now, I can say that this “job” of motherhood is the most cherished job and biggest privilege of my life.
On my first Mother’s Day, my mother gave me a kitchen towel that read, “Thank you for being my mom. For warm cookies and big hugs, for clean sheets and a ride home, for saying,’You can do it!’ for reading the story to me a hundred times, for putting my art on the refrigerator, for being patient, for feeding my friends, for being my buddy, my teacher, my biggest fan, for nudging me along, for loving me for who I am. Thank you, mom, for being you.” Well, I wish I had found that towel to give to her first, but what an awesome reminder of all the little things surely do count!

Cedarwood Essential Oil has a woodsy scent that comforts and uplifts. We diffuse Cedarwood and Lavender in every bedroom at night time in our house. In addition to the calming effects of Cedarwood, it’s also wonderful in your beauty routine. It’s great to smooth skin and shine hair. I add a few drops to my shampoo. I also have Cedarwood in a spray bottle with Tea Tree and Lemongrass to spray on when I go outside. It helps me be able to enjoy the outdoors annoyance free!
Melrose is a blend of Rosemary, Tea Tree (MelA), Clove, and Niaouli essential oils. It is known for it’s powerful cleansing properties and for supporting the appearance of the skin. It is also great when diffusing to purify the air and get rid of odors. I have a cream made up of coconut oil, Melrose, and Frankincense that I use for anything skin related!
Manuka Essential Oil is also another skin-supporting oil {are you catching on to the trend here… we’re all about skin and beauty this month!!}. You can add a few drops of Manuka to your favorite skin care products, use it to reduce the appearance of blemishes {going to try this now!!}, and support the appearance of overall heathy-looking skin!
Inspired by a drop of morning dew, the Dewdrop Diffuser functions as a humidifier, atomizer, and aroma diffuser all in one AWESOME product.
