Hi, all! I just wanted to take a few moments of your time to talk about Lemongrass and how I have used it for my ailments.
I am a nurse and work long 12 hour shifts, often 2-3 days in a row. I use lemongrass essential oil to support healthy joint and tendon function.
Lemongrass can be applied topically as well as ingested in a capsule. Lemongrass, combined with my pain cream, has helped tremendously with alleviating minor aches and pains from daily life as a nurse. I put Lemongrass in a roller bottle with grapeseed oil as my carrier and apply that first to my heels, my ankles and my calves. I then layer with my pain cream that consists of R.C., Valor, and PanAway. This combination works almost instantaneously. I keep it at my bedside to apply before I get into bed and before I get out of bed.
Lemongrass can also be used for spider veins. I have recently noticed some on my legs from standing and walking for a straight 12 hour shift. I have started applying my Lemongrass roller to my veins. My mom suffers from them as well due to age, and she has started using the roller as well. We are tracking her progress and will share with all of you as she sees improvements!
The other bonus of Lemongrass is that it smells amazing, and it is great to diffuse!! Your oil collection needs this oil, and it is affordable enough to add!
